I spent my Easter holidays at a lodge in Durban and I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and well-decorated rooms which were clean and neat. the location was great, close to the heart of the city and just a short distance from the beach. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast which was served every morning.
My experience at the lodge was not entirely positive. the staff were not particularly friendly and did not go out of their way to make me feel welcome.

Close proximity to the city centre but far enough away to be out of the hub. Close to good restaurants and the beach is only a few kilometers drive. It has great views of the sea from the breakfast terrace and is well appointed.

The staff, service, breakfast, and relaxation areas were all brilliant at Lembali Lodge. The staff, particularly Nhlakanipho, were warm and welcoming. The views from the balcony were beautiful and the lodge was clean. The breakfast, cooked by Oungi, was amazing and varied daily. Lembali Lodge provided a luxurious and comfortable stay, with spacious rooms and great views.
Everything was fantastic.

Bed was super comfortable. Had a nice view from room and private balcony.
Hot water took for ever to heat up and was not very hot.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location is perfect, nestled in a quiet neighborhood but still close enough to all the social scenes. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, they were friendly, courteous, and professional. The room amenities were top-notch, with ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, a cozy sitting area, and a lovely patio to enjoy the views. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the complimentary toiletries and the convenience of having a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle in the room. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services that exceeded my expectations.
I would highly recommend this hotel to families.

Lembali Lodge must be commended for service excellence, style and unexpected offerings for breakfast. What a pleasant surprise to wake up to Strawberry waffles in the morning. The rooms are impeccably clean, classy and comfortable. Also very conveniently situated with regard to most amenities. Would definitely recommend. 10/10

Lembali Lodge cannot be beaten for luxurious accommodation, and the breakfasts were so varied, delicious and beautifully presented that I was more inclined to frame them than eat them. The service of the staff was fabulous, and even though I arrived at 10pm, a warm welcome awaited me, followed by a delicious plate of toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches and a fresh pot of tea, delivered to my room without my even having to request it! 5 stars on all counts!!
Access to the parking area was initially a little challenging for me, driving a stick-shift car, but I soon became used to it.

We loved the location, which was very central and close to everything. the quiet neighborhood was perfect for a good night’s sleep, yet still within walking distance to the nightlife. Our room was spacious, but unfortunately, the bathroom was a let-down compared to the rest of the facilities. Breakfast was average and nothing to write home about, but the view was fantastic.
It was a shame that the room was not as clean as we would have expected.

We received a warm welcome at Lembali Lodge which offers luxurious accommodation coupled with the most amazing hospitality. It is perfectly situated in a lovely quiet suburb to enjoy the vibe, the bars, restaurants and shops of Florida Road and Musgrave Road yet within easy reach of Durban's city centre and beaches. It is peaceful, well run with stunning views of the city and sea at from the elegant timbered terrace. Each of the rooms is beautifully decorated and original. Comfort is a byword at this lodge. I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone who enjoys the good things in life!

We spent Easter at a lodge and although we had a few good experiences, we were quite disappointed overall. The breakfast was really nice, there was a variety of options to choose from, and the room was quite spacious. The location was pretty decent, with some good restaurants nearby. We also appreciated the handy guide on things to do in the area that was left in our room.
The room was not as clean as we would have hoped. We noticed stains on both the bed sheets and the carpeted floor.
